We have a long and enviable history in delivering water infrastructure projects in urban and regional settings. Moving, storing and treating water in and around existing communities relies on specialist capabilities and a commitment to high-level community and stakeholder engagement.
Our team’s technical knowledge is sought after for projects across Australia and New Zealand. Our capabilities in the water sector include: water treatment plants for potable and waste water; desalination; recycling and reuse; reservoirs and tanks; pipelines; pump stations and bulk water catchments, as well as water transfer and network distribution.
Starting at design, our services cover the life of the project and through Thiess Services, extend to operations and maintenance. This is enhanced by our multi-disciplinary engineering capacity including civil, mechanical, hydraulic, tunnelling and processing capabilities.
We are delivering large-scale projects such as the world-class Victorian Desalination Plant and the Metropolitan Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), one of Western Australia’s most substantial WWTP upgrade programs. In 2008, our work on the Bundamba Advanced Water Treatment Plant was recognised as Water Project of the Year at the Global Water Awards.
Our clients’ needs are at the forefront of our planning and we excel at delivering on-time and on-budget value to clients and communities.
