Our smart planning for tomorrow’s cities is taking major roadways and busways on a fresh journey. We are advancing the design and execution of these crucial networks with new construction methods, delivering some of Australia’s most complex road projects including the nation’s largest – the $4.8 billion Airport Link.
We have constructed tens of thousands of kilometres of roads and highways, hundreds of bridges and elevated roadways and more than 100 kilometres of tunnels for governments. Major projects such as EastLink and the Sydney Harbour Tunnel have considerably eased pressure on transport networks, providing important infrastructure to help our cities grow.
Projects such as Coopernook to Herons Creek in New South Wales and Woodlands to Veales, near Townsville, Queensland are connecting our burgeoning regional centres. Value to clients and end users is enabled by our whole-of-life approach, from design to infrastructure management and the use of new construction techniques.
Our investment in twin shaft concrete batching plants has set new benchmarks for the consistency of concrete produced for paving works. They also have the added benefit of being a foundationless design, lowering establishment costs and decreasing timeframes to allow easier movement across larger projects than conventional plants.
Our extensive plant fleet includes the latest graders, excavators, compactors, rollers and loaders, and we are at the forefront of bulk earthworks projects. We are Austroads nationally accredited to R5 for Roadworks and B4 for Bridgeworks – the highest levels possible – and we are skilled in delivering greenfield and brownfield projects. Throughout our plant operations we uphold the highest standards of maintenance and operations ensuring our productivity rates remain high and our programs stay on track.
