Educational Programs

  • Griffith University Project Management Course - from 2009 Thiess Queensland will fund a new project management course as part of Griffith University's Bachelor of Engineering program. The five-year sponsorship is worth $150,000
  • Indonesia Undergraduate Program - Thiess Contractors Indonesia (TCI) offers academic scholarships to undergraduate students in their final year of study. Upon graduation the students are employed by TCI under a Bound Agreement in accordance with their respective studies
  • Thiess Plant Apprenticeship Program - Thiess offers a number of plant apprenticeships throughout the business annually. 
  • Thiess Indonesia Five-Year Apprenticeship Program - TCI has been operating the apprentice program for 16 years. The intake is from senior high schools and senior vocational schools
  • Graduate Program - Thiess offers a two-year program that employs about 80 graduates annually and offers structured professional development workshops, supportive mentoring and coaching from experienced leaders, job rotation across different roles and/or locations, networking opportunities with business leaders and more.
